There's a lot I like here. The reversed (?) chords are great at making the whole composition sound very ominous, and it manages to give it some forward momentum as well. Perhaps I would've preferred if there was just some extra percussive elements in the same vibe to fill it up but that might just be me. The flute-ish instrument sounds good, but I feel like that section around 0:44 is a bit jarring and the melody seems a bit random there, I personally felt the piano that came in afterwards was much more interesting and carried the piece along much better, which then ends up being complemented nicely by the flute afterwards. Good job on this though, it's certainly an interesting experiment that manages to elicit some good tension.

Codefreq responds:

I can see why the flute could be jarring. I've heard many pieces try to be creepy or scary but many of them sound ominous by big and reverberated without much of a melody, so I thought I'd try to create tension like the end of nightmare when you wake up sweating; a very close-up, heart-pounding feeling, like the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Omen of the Bloody Moon theme. Look it up, you'll see what I mean.

Still, I'll keep it in mind. Thank you for your feedback. :)

This goes hard, love the energy. Personally I might've turned down the drums just like a tiny little smidge to let the rest of the mix come out a bit more but good job man.

Droid responds:

lol preciate it. im still trying to get the mix right, so thanks for the tip!

Nice job

Great song, nice job :) I loved that effect you had in the beginning and once the drums kicked in it just became awesome. The ending was perfect. Just one thing I didn't like that much was the 'ooh' like instrument you used at one part to do a melody. I don't know, it didn't really fit in with the rest. Otherwise, great job :)

Looks nice so far

Nice job, keep working on this one, it has potential. You might add just some strings? Some light strings to work as a background tone, to make it flow a bit?

CarlTheVoiceactor responds:

Thanks for the review! I wasn't even thinking about strings actually, that's a good idea. I was also thinking about going with maybe a harpsichord or an organ. Glad you enjoyed this short piece, hopefully I'll have it done really soon :D

Nice and relaxing.

I really liked the main melody, and the drums were nice too. The only thing I didn't like was the thing you did at :08, where it sounds like you're making a mistake, but if it wasn't a mistake, I didn't really like the way it sounded.

Lycrios responds:

Yes, I was unaware of this mistake, I will fix it. :D Thanks.
